At Renewi, we are looking for a Buyer Transportation to take ownership of a transportation portfolio with an annual spend of approximately €110 million. In this role, you will help shape and execute sourcing strategies, drive supplier performance and support the transformation of one of the largest transport fleets in the Benelux.

Your role:
As Buyer Transportation, you are responsible for a strategic category that directly impacts our operational performance, service levels and cost base.
You will work closely with operational stakeholders, suppliers and procurement colleagues across Belgium and the Netherlands to identify opportunities, implement improvements and create sustainable value.
You report to the Category Manager Logistics and are part of the wider Group Procurement team.

What will you do?
Develop and execute category strategies within the Transportation domain.
Lead sourcing projects and contract negotiations.
Manage supplier relationships and drive supplier performance improvements.
Identify opportunities for cost optimisation, value creation and risk reduction.
Assess and challenge internal versus external transport decisions based on total cost of ownership, service levels and operational constraints.
Support the transition towards more sustainable and innovative transportation solutions.
Work closely with operational stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into procurement initiatives.
Monitor market developments, supplier trends and innovation opportunities.
Ensure compliance with procurement policies, governance standards and contractual obligations.
Support cross-functional projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
What do you bring?
You are commercially minded, analytical and capable of building strong relationships across different levels of the organisation. You understand how procurement creates business value and know how to balance stakeholder interests with commercial outcomes.

You also bring:&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
Several years of procurement experience within transportation, logistics, fleet.
Experience with strategic sourcing, contract negotiations and supplier management.
Strong analytical skills and a data-driven approach with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
Experience working in complex stakeholder environments with the ability to influence without direct authority.
Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
Understanding transport operations and capacity planning is considered a strong advantage.
Experience with transport management and/or procurement systems (e.g. Transporeon or similar platforms).
Fluency in Dutch and English; French is a plus.

At Renewi, we are looking for a Category Manager Professional Services to take ownership of a broad and strategic spend portfolio covering Marketing, Communication, IT Services and HR-related services. In this role, you will lead a team of Category Buyers and play a key role in shaping how Renewi sources and partners for critical business services.

Your role:
As Category Manager Professional Services, you are responsible for defining and executing the category strategy across multiple indirect spend areas. You will drive value creation through strategic sourcing, supplier management, demand management and stakeholder alignment across the organisation.
You will lead a team of 2 Category Buyers and work closely with senior stakeholders across HR, IT, Marketing, Communications and the broader business. Together, you ensure that Professional Services spend is optimised, future-proof and aligned with Renewi’s transformation agenda.
You report to the Group Procurement Director and are part of the Procurement Leadership Team.

What will you do?
Define and execute the category strategy for Professional Services (Marketing, Communication, IT Services and HR services).
Lead, coach and develop a team of Category Buyers.
Drive complex sourcing initiatives and strategic supplier negotiations.
Build and manage long-term partnerships with key service providers.
Challenge and align senior stakeholders on demand, sourcing approach and value creation opportunities.
Identify opportunities for cost optimisation, standardisation and value delivery across all Professional Services categories.
Drive synergy between categories and enable cross-functional procurement strategies.
Ensure strong governance, compliance and supplier performance management.
