Manager Financial Control CW

Brief description:
Plan, direct, or coordinate the process of reporting financial and managerial data, advise on the financial consequences of process related decisions, and make recommendations targeted at improving and safeguarding financial results.
SCOPE: Group Control – Financial Control
Key Responsibilities:
- Build, manage & coach a high performing team.
- Accountable for the Annual and Half-Year Budget (delivering budget in line with the budget process) for the team.
- Build operational excellence in Finance.
Further Responsibilities:
- Overall responsible for all Financial Control activities for the CW team.
- Oversee the day-to-day financial operations / transactions.
- You will ensure timely reporting of the monthly results.
- Ensures link with the division and FSSC (especially during month-end close) for timely, accurate and qualitative financial reporting.
- Ensuring accuracy of the financial statements.
- Initiates, supports and executes process improvement initiatives (streamline the FC activities for the CW processes between BE and NL) -> one way of working.
- Crucial stakeholder in the process (incl. reviewing and approving) of reviewing and approving possible Finance IT system changes / updates.
- Review of key controls (incl. risk assessments and define mitigations).
