Finance Business Partner Supply Chain
Full-time | Hybrid | Flexible base location | base Nieuwegein

At Renewi, we believe waste does not exist. As a leading waste-to-product company, we are transforming our operations to unlock value, improve efficiency and accelerate our circular ambitions.

Within this journey, our Supply Chain programme is critical. A portfolio of high-impact initiatives designed to structurally improve cost, performance and asset utilisation across our operations.

As Finance Business Partner Supply Chain, you operate at the heart of this transformation. You don’t just report the numbers—you validate, challenge and ensure delivery. You make sure that improvement initiatives translate into real, measurable and sustainable P&L impact.

Your Mission:

  • Own the financial impact of transformation: You validate and monitor the financial impact of high-impact Supply Chain initiatives. You ensure savings are real, measurable and structurally embedded in our financial results—beyond one-off improvements.
  • Drive cost-out and performance improvement: You provide financial leadership on cost reduction and operational improvement programmes. You track performance, identify gaps and ensure corrective actions are taken to deliver committed targets.
  • From initiative to P&L reality: You develop and monitor KPIs, track savings realisation and oversee implementation costs. You distinguish between structural improvements and temporary gains—and ensure sustainability over time.
  • Strategic partner to the business: You act as a trusted finance partner to the PMO, Program Director, project teams and business owners. You challenge assumptions, validate business cases and hold stakeholders accountable for delivery.
  • Enable disciplined investment decision: You support CAPEX governance across operational assets (trucks, yellow goods, containers). You ensure robust business cases, disciplined capital allocation and strong follow-up on returns.
  • Bridge finance and operations: You work closely with Supply Chain and Operations, translating operational performance into financial insight. You bring clarity, structure and focus in a fast-moving transformation environment.

What you bring:

  • 7–12 years of experience in Finance (Finance Business Partnering, FP&A or similar)
  • Strong track record in performance improvement, cost optimisation or transformation environments
  • Experience in an operational, industrial or asset-heavy setting (e.g. logistics, supply chain, manufacturing)
  • Strong analytical skills (financial modelling, Excel, Power BI)
  • Ability to challenge senior stakeholders and drive accountability
  • Experience working in project or programme environments (PMO exposure is a plus)
  • Solid understanding of CAPEX and investment governance
  • Master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration or related
  • Fluent in both Dutch & English
  • Hands-on, structured and resilient

Your position in the organisation:

  • Part of the Finance Business Partnering team
  • Key finance partner to the Supply Chain programme
  • Intensive collaboration with PMO, Program Director and Operations leadership
  • Reporting to the Director Finance
