Analyst Financial Planning & Analysis
Fulltime
Hybrid working possible, once a week in Eindhoven
As part of Renewi’s Group Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team, you will work closely with senior stakeholders across the business to support financial planning, performance analysis, and data-driven decision-making. You will gain exposure to key financial processes and help shape the future of our reporting and forecasting capabilities through technology and automation.
Key responsibilities:
- Build and maintain driver-based financial models to support scenario analysis, planning, and forecasting.
- Analyse P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow data to deliver accurate and meaningful insights.
- Translate complex data into clear visualizations using Power BI, Excel (Power Query), or SQL to build and automate reports & dashboards, benchmark performance or trend analysis.
- Support the group planning cycle, including budgeting, forecasting, and monthly performance reviews.
- Partner with business units and functional teams to support strategic initiatives through financial insight and scenario modeling.
- Identify opportunities to streamline reporting and automate manual processes.
- Assist in the implementation and enhancement of tools like OneStream (experience is a plus).
Your profile:
- Master degree with 3-5 years relevant working experience, preferably within Big 4 audit or advisory.
- Strong understanding of financial statements and how P&L, balance sheet and cash flows connect.
- Curious, analytical and eager to understand how business decisions impact financial outcomes. You take ownership to identify issues and propose data-driven solutions.
- Solid experience with Excel (formulas, pivot tables, Power Query); Power BI or SQL and OneStream is a strong advantage.
- Proactive, structured and able to communicate clearly with finance and non-finance stakeholders, you know how to turn financial data into compelling business insights.
- Comfortable working with large data sets and building models that are scalable and transparent
- Fluent in English; Dutch is a nice-to-have
